Student Starts Feeding Program

From a simple Ecoventure project of selling Milo Dinosaurs, Grade 9 student Dorene Chuaunsu was inspired to start a Saturday feeding program with her family in the nearby Barangay of Almanza Dos at T.S. Cruz Covered Basketball Complex. Using her earnings from the Ecoventure which amounted to P22,000, Dorene bought 22 love packs with a teddy bear, toiletries, and school supplies for the children in Bahay Parola. Dorene’s mentor, Ms. Gina Palmares, was an ardent supporter throughout the Ecoventure and accompanied her during all four outreach weekends. Dorene’s friend and classmate, Bernice Vasay, also helped out by selling the Milo Dinos and volunteering for one Saturday outreach.

We commend Dorene, Bernice, and Ms. Palmares for their initiative and spirit of service borne out of their love for God and others. Continue spreading kindness to others!
