Planning Session with Parent Coordinators

More than 100 Parent Coordinators (PCs) from Grades 1 to 12 gathered last August 8 for the annual PC General Assembly—a meaningful day of learning, reflection, fellowship, and planning organized by the Parent Formation Office.

The assembly opened with a warm message from Mrs. Milagros Lorenzo, School Board Chairperson, who shared the school’s refreshed Vision and Mission. She highlighted the important role of PCs as a vital link in the home-school partnership—bridging the school and families, fostering a strong sense of community, and helping set the tone for their respective batches. As parents who help build the Woodrose community, the PCs were encouraged to keep the school’s Vision and Mission close to heart as they raise their families, support and inspire fellow parents, and create enriching opportunities for connection and growth.

The day continued with an engaging session on the Art of Family Accompaniment, led by Ms. Kathleen Pineda, Associate Director for Academic Standards. Through interactive activities and reflection, the PCs explored the three pillars of Family Accompaniment: Walking Alongside, Intentional Presence, and Beneficial and Tangible Value.
The assembly concluded with level-based planning sessions guided by Mrs. Blanca dela Cruz, IBED Principal, as PCs came together to look ahead and plan purposeful activities for the school year.

Woodrose is grateful for our Parent Coordinators who generously share their time, energy, and hearts in service of our families. Together, we continue to build a community where families walk alongside one another, support each other, and grow together.
