Last August 4, PAREF Woodrose School had the privilege of welcoming Rev. Fr. Wenceslao Vial for an inspiring talk on mental wellness and building emotionally and spiritually resilient families.
Based in Rome, Italy, Fr. Vial is a surgeon, a Doctor of Philosophy, and a priest. His unique combination of clinical expertise, academic scholarship, and pastoral ministry has given him broad and extensive experience in accompanying individuals and families.
It was an enriching afternoon for our teachers, staff, and parents as he shared practical guidance, meaningful reflections, and thoughtful responses to timely questions from the audience. Fr. Vial reminded us that “resilience is dynamic”—growing through a “relational process of support.” His message, “One student, one name,” reinforces our belief at Woodrose that every child deserves to be known personally, valued deeply, and accompanied with genuine care.
Thank you, Fr. Vial, for your wisdom, generosity, and support. As one community, we remain committed to fostering a safe and nurturing environment where every student can flourish with resilience, knowing that she is seen, supported, and loved.
