Mission Kalusugan 2026: A Day of Care for Our Woodrose Auxiliary Staff

In every corner of the Woodrose campus, our auxiliary staff quietly sustain the rhythm of daily school life—often unseen, yet deeply valued.

On April 11, 2026, Mission Kalusugan brought the community together to serve them in return. Organized by Woodrose parents, the initiative provided 185 auxiliary staff and family members with access to free medical and dental services at the gym.

Parent Volunteers from Batches 2026, 2030, and 2033 served alongside Grade 12 Student Volunteers and Alumnae Volunteers. The medical team was composed of doctors and health practitioners, as well as dentists from the International College of Dentists (ICD) and the Philippine Air Force Dental Team (PAF), who generously offered their time and expertise—including a dental bus for on-site procedures.

Participants received a range of services including medical consultations, dental care, eye screenings, and the distribution of medicines and wellness kits. More than treatment, this year’s mission also emphasized prevention. Grade 12 student volunteers conducted short health talks on dyslipidemia, hypertension, and Type 2 diabetes, while the dental team provided oral health education.

This year’s mission was made possible through the support of the Woodrose community, as well as numerous partners and donors, whose contributions ensured that each participant went home cared for and supported:

  • Medicines: Unilab, Rite Med Inc, Bayer, Gruppo Medica
  • Hygiene items: UL Skin Sciences, Kohl Industries (Doctor J alcohol), Paul Camello (product giveaways)
  • Lab tests & TGP Medicines: Maricon Manalo, Kathy Ostani, Pat Campañer, Ana Mota, Nikki Banaag
  • Wellness partners: Ayala Healthway, TGP

One of the most meaningful aspects of Mission Kalusugan continues to be the presence of Woodrose parents, students, and alumnae serving together. Their participation reflects a full-circle moment of giving back—offering care to the very people who have long supported their families’ daily school life.

As in previous years, the smiles and heartfelt thanks of the auxiliary staff remain the true measure of success. Yet many volunteers shared that they, too, received something invaluable in return—a renewed sense of purpose and a deeper appreciation for service.

Mission Kalusugan 2026 stands as a testament to what the Woodrose community can accomplish together: a day where service becomes an encounter, and care becomes a shared experience of gratitude.
