In an effort to unify the Woodrose community in prayer for peace and unity between Ukraine 🇺🇦 and Russia 🇷🇺, families, staff and alumnae are invited to join the Leis of Cranes for Ukraine: A Call for Peace project.
How can you participate?
- Fold as many origami cranes as you can using blue and yellow paper. Say a short prayer for peace and unity between Ukraine and Russia.
- Drop off your cranes at Rosal Gate (Gate 5) in your respective team boxes.
- To tie the project with Family Day, the team with the most number of paper cranes will be recognized during the Awarding Ceremony on Saturday, April 2.
The cranes will be made into leis that will be hung around the school as a symbol that we are advocates of peace and truth.
