Woodrose Hosts Harvard Model Congress

Woodrose is honored to have hosted the first Harvard Model Congress Young Global Leaders Program in the country from August 13 to 15, 2025.

DAY 1:

From delivering impactful speeches to analyzing them, and from identifying real-world problems to breaking them down into actionable parts—our young leaders had a truly productive first day!

Guided by mentors from Harvard University, students began honing their skills in public speaking, effective communication, and problem-driven thinking—all essential tools for leadership in today’s world.

DAY 2:

As another day has gone by, our young leaders have learned about leadership styles, philosophical systems, and types of solutions, challenging their morals and encouraging them to think deeper.

With activities planned out by mentors from Harvard University, our young leaders have continued cultivating teamwork and communication skills, getting to see different perspectives from their fellow students. They prepare for their final presentations, in which they will be pitching solutions to problems plaguing our community and the world.

DAY 3:

As our young leaders concluded their final group activities, lessons, and presentations, an enlightening and inspiring journey came to a close.

Until the very end, they continued to sharpen their skills in negotiation and constructive debate. Their final presentations reflected both passion and creativity, offering innovative solutions to real-world challenges at the national and global levels.

From building meaningful connections with fellow student leaders from across the nation to gaining invaluable insights from seasoned mentors, the Harvard Model Congress Young Global Leaders program was truly a transformative experience. Though the program has ended, its impact will resonate throughout our community, shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
