Woodrose Alumna Guests in KWARENTA

Woodrose alumna, Alexia Adizon (Class of 2010), was the guest speaker at KWARENTA aired early this morning on DYAF CMN Bacolod 1143 kHz AM radio and on the ADSUM Diocese of Bacolod Facebook Page. In her interview, she talked about her work as a Senior High School Language and Literature teacher in Bacolod. One of the projects she gave her students is to translate their English literary works into Hiligaynon which could be used in story-telling sessions with young readers. According to Alexia, she found her calling as a teacher when she was in high school, while doing outreach and teaching Catechism in the slum areas in Alabang. Today, more than 10 years after graduating from Woodrose, Alexia shares her passion for serving others by bringing volunteer students to do outreach activities such as cooking meals and feeding the homeless in Bacolod.
