Last October 9, 2018, the Guidance Center organized a University Fair for Grade 11 students to help them learn more about career and degree programs offered by different universities and institutions abroad. A Navigation seminar was presented in the morning by Guidance NGO, which tackles the different reasons why students usually struggle with decision-making.
The second part of the program was a talk conducted by representatives of Colleges abroad, namely Ms. Chim Namjildorj of St. George’s University (Grenada), Ms. Dianne Sioson of Study International (UK, Australia and New Zealand), Mr. Sven Clarke of University of British Columbia (Canada), and Ms. Andrea Chang of Waseda University (Japan). Students were provided information about career and degree programs, college application process, scholarships, and admission requirements.
In the afternoon, students visited the booths that were set up by participating universities, schools, and institutions. The following are the list of exhibitors: Waseda University, St. George’s University (SGU), University of British Columbia (UBC), Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID), Asian Institute of Aviation (AIA), School of Fashion Arts and Design (SoFA), Study International, Enderun Colleges, Treston International College, Southville International School Affiliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU), and iAcademy.
