Twenty Years of Sainthood

Twenty years ago, Josemaría Escrivá was canonized in Rome by Pope John Paul II. That time, the Pope called him the “Saint of the ordinary” but “his teachings were timely and urgent today.”

St. Josemaría is a special saint in our school community because he is the inspiration behind our educational philosophy. On this historic day, let us ask for his intercession as we pray for our personal intentions and for others as well. Let us also keep his teachings in mind as we deal with our day-to-day life, no matter how ordinary our tasks may seem to be. It is precisely through these ordinary moments that we can be extraordinary human beings, who strive to be holy.

A special commemorative exhibit is now open for viewing from October 6 to 26, 2022 at the Woodrose Gallery (in front of the Bookstore). Everyone is invited to come and reminisce on the past 20 years of Sainthood of St. Josemaría Escrivá.
