Family Day is a big event in Woodrose. And more so this year as we celebrated our 40th FAMILY DAY on our Ruby Anniversary with the theme, THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME.
For 40 years, the Woodrose family has been coming together in the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork. Veteran teachers and the first graduates of Woodrse will recall that Family Day was first known as Field Day. And that it started with only two teams: RED and BLUE. And that among the mothers’ relay games was MARIA GOES TO MARKET. Or that one of the most awaited events was the marathon race around the Woodrose campus.
Forty years later, we see that much has changed, but much has also remained the same, thanks to the STRONG FAMILIES who have committed themselves to the school and to the alumnae who have remained loyal years after graduating high school by sending their daughters to study here. Indeed, Woodrose is a school that our students and every generation of our alumnae can proudly call HOME.
