Several high school students, including members of Gabay service org, participated in the Urban Service Project (Urbans), a partnership with Narra Nueva Study Center. From May 20 to 23, the girls spent their day at Filinvest Alabang Elementary. In the morning, they taught Math, English, Values Education, and Arts & Crafts to students from Grades 3 to 6. In the afternoon, they helped clean classrooms and care for the school garden.
Urbans served as the culminating activity of Gabay’s outreach efforts this school year: from catechism classes at Sitio Rizal to meaningful visits to children with cancer at Bahay Aruga.
