The Woodrose Scientific Club attended the 2026 UP ALCHEMES Research Fair at UP Diliman last month. Members participated in the Youth Science Convention, which featured three guest professors from the university. From exploring the opportunities and risks of Artificial Intelligence, to reflecting on environmental responsibility, civic awareness, and youth involvement in charity and activism, the experience reminded us that science goes hand in hand with service and social responsibility.
The members returned with a deeper appreciation for the future of science and a renewed sense of the youth’s role as stewards of positive change. To conclude the trip, the club enjoyed a brief tour of the expansive UP Diliman campus grounds.
