We congratulate Grade 12 student, KARMELLA TAPIA, for having received the BEST IN PSYCHOLOGY award at the graduation of the 51st Ateneo Junior Summer Seminar.
During the months of April and May 20018, Karmella attended the Ateneo Junior Summer Seminar, more commonly known as the AJSS. This is a “special program that gathers a select group of talented and vibrant junior high school students with the goal of introducing them to college campus life, particularly college-level courses, professors, facilities and activities in the summer before their senior year. It is offered free-of-charge to outstanding students from various private, public and parochial high schools in Metro Manila and in the provinces.” Karmella, who was not able to make it to the graduation due to a mission trip, says that she found out about her award through her classmates, and that “the award was really a surprise.” We congratulate her and wish her luck on her last year in high school.
