Self-Care

Our physical and mental wellness are equally essential to live meaningful and purposeful lives. As we all prepare for the new normal this coming school year, the Woodrose Guidance Center is committed to provide services that promote the well-being of everyone in our school community.

While it is true that we have been stretched and challenged by these unprecedented times, we have emerged more resilient than ever. However, it is also during these times that worrying tends to be high. Repetitive stress can take a toll on our health and morale, thus it is important to take extra care of ourselves. Self-care during these times will help restore balance in our personal and professional lives. Additionally, connecting with our colleagues is also important and could be very helpful. Remember that we are all part of one big family and that you do not have to do it alone. We will all get through this together.

The Guidance Center extends support to everyone by offering a safe place where you can express your thoughts, feelings and concerns. We share here the 6R’s of Self-care which include some tips on how we can all stay grounded especially during these times.
