The Woodrose Student Council invites all Woodrose High School students to a MENTAL HEALTH FORUM on Wednesday, March 21, from 1:30PM to 3:00PM at the Multipurpose Hall. The guest speaker for this event is a Woodrose mom, Dr. Elizabeth Ann C. Morales, from the Department of Pediatrics of Asian Hospital & Medical Center.
Dr. Morales will tackle the following topics with the students:
- – Understanding changes in the Teen Brain and how it affects mental health
- – Understanding the impact of stigma on mental health issues
- – Being familiar with common mental health illnesses and their red flags
- – Knowing the factors influencing our mental health
- – Knowing the ways and means of promoting mental health wellness
