We are living in unprecedented times when most of us, if not all, have experienced anxiety, downheartedness, and a lot of mixed emotions. As we grapple with the ongoing challenges of a global pandemic and an eleven-month lockdown, it is important to find ways to overcome the negative effects that stem from these.
Fortunately, the talk of Dr. Daphne M. Ong entitled Managing Resiliency and Mental Well-Being during the Pandemic, organized by the Senior High School Department last February 5, 2021, was able to provide much needed advice to parents, mentors, and faculty members on how to support students so that they can effectively manage their emotional distress and remain resilient.
Dr. Ong is a General Psychiatrist, Bioethicist, Theologian, and Mental Health & Youth-Formation Advocate. The recording of her talk is available here for those who may have missed it.
