Launching of Family Catechesis

Last September 8, on the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Woodrose launched the Family Catechesis Program with a Batch Mass sponsored by Grade 3 Families. After the Mass, students offered birthday flowers to Our Lady and parents enjoyed an informal gathering with our school chaplain. A replica of Our Lady of the Rose was also blessed by Fr. Raffy and received by Grade 3 Head Parent Coordinators, Philip and Jill Singian. Families will take turns welcoming Our Lady into their homes and praying the Holy Rosary together—deepening Marian devotion, especially among young children.

The Family Catechesis Program for Grades 1–3 is designed to support and empower parents as the primary educators of their children’s faith, strengthening the vital bond between home, school, and parish life. 💙
