From November 24 – December 2, 2019, 35 participants went on the 4th Woodrose Holy Land Retreat Pilgrimage. The group was able to visit several sites deeply connected to the life of Jesus and were able to experience literally walking in the footsteps of the Lord.
- My experience in Holy Land not only gave me a deeper understanding of the life of Jesus Christ, but also helped me to grow closer to God and stronger in faith.
– Sarah Limlengco - Following Christ’s footsteps helped me realize how much God loves man. The trip contributed to my spiritual growth, and it inspired me to do all my actions for His glory.
– Kimmy Calonzo - Going to Holy Land was more than a trip, it was an enlightening experience. The experiences I gained there have made me realise that we should always dedicate ourselves to God.
– Erin Cariaso - My experience in Holy Land changed my life for the better. This trip made my relationship with God stronger and it motivated me to become the best version of myself.
-Kiana de la Rosa - It changed my relationship with God. When I went there, I was able to learn more of his love for us, His children, through the holy sites we visited and the meditations Fr. Reyes gave.
-Alex Espeleta - The pilgrimage to the Holy Land not only allowed me to experience the life of Jesus, but it also allowed my family to do the same. I am thankful we got this opportunity to go there and learn about spiritual growth together.
– Francine Calado - Being able to visit the places that were sanctified by the presence of Jesus himself inspired me in a way that no other experience could. I was able to live in the events of the bible and feel how immensely the Lord loves us.
– Lauren De Luna - The Holy Land trip was was enlightening and so beautiful. I’m so happy that I got to experience the life of Jesus surrounded by the people most important to me, my family and friends.
– Anna Almeda - At the beginning Father Reyes said to keep our hearts open. He also said that “ every Holy Land experience is different from others. Just as there is an external pilgrimage there is an interior one.” My heart went through that inner pilgrimage. This trip was the start of my healing process. I can say that God showed me what was holding me back, which made me resolve to begin again.
– Yanna Gomez - Each moment I had with God in the Holy Land was so special, so genuine, and I loved every second of it. In a way, it made my relationship with him change and my love for him continues to grow more and more each day.
