The Grade School Academic Week celebration opened last Monday, April 19. Despite being in the remote learning set-up, we could not be hindered from holding this annual event. This year’s theme is VIRTUAL, an acronym for
V – Virtue
I – Interconnectedness
R – Readiness
T – Transfer of knowledge and skills
U – Uniqueness
A – Adaptability
L – Love for Learning.
The week is filled with activities where students showcase their talents, knowledge and skills learned in their different academic subjects and co-curriculars through virtual exhibits, online contests, and talent presentations. There is also parents participation through the “Read-Aloud” and “Tagapagsalaysay ng Kwento” in the Primary levels. The girls get so thrilled to see moms and dads do the story-telling activities in the online class.
The students are also looking forward to the last day of this week where there will be awarding of winners and “Last Day Fun Day” class advisory get-together before they go on their Summer Break!
