Grade 10 students showcased their creativity and critical thinking in an oral presentation and defense of their roller coaster prototypes. This Performance Task in Physics allowed them to apply their understanding of energy, force, work, and efficiency. It also highlighted their teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills which are important 21st-century skills needed for success in the real world.
The students felt a mix of nervousness and excitement but they enjoyed the experience and appreciated the helpful feedback and encouragement from their judges.
