Every year, the school brings together dads and their daughters for a special Father-Daughter Day: a chance to slow down, connect, and make memories together.
Our Grade 1 Dads and their daughters gathered for this meaningful occasion, highlighted by a special talk for fathers from fellow Woodrose parent and speaker Atty. Louie Llaguno. He shared insights on deliberate parenting that place character formation at the heart of raising children. He emphasized that virtue is formed through consistent routines and age-appropriate chores, guided by discipline rooted in kindness – teaching responsibility and self-control through love rather than fear. Dads were encouraged to balance affection with formation, to understand their daughters’ love languages, and to lead with firmness, warmth, and clear purpose. After the talk, fathers and daughters enjoyed games and bonding activities – celebrating not just the day, but the precious gift of fatherhood itself.
