After two years of holding the Eucharistic Procession virtually, this annual school tradition made a beautiful comeback this SY 2022-23.
On November 25, the entire school community worked all day to adorn the path our Lord will take by laying a long floral carpet, done by hand, using a variety of fresh flowers and multi-colored sawdust.
The following day, November 26, began with Holy Mass concelebrated by Msgr. Julio Diéguez, the recently appointed Regional Vicar of Opus Dei for the Philippines and Indonesia, and Msgr. Carlos Estrada. After the Mass, the Blessed Sacrament was carried through the school grounds in a solemn procession.
This is a school tradition that we hold around the Feast of Christ the King to adore and honor the true presence of Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist, giving public witness of our faith as a united community. The beautiful floral carpets meticulously made by students, parents, alumnae and staff, as well as the melodious singing led by the Woodrose Chorale, made it truly special.
