On March 1-3, 2019, Woodrose hosted the 4th Esciva Cup, an all-girls invitational tournament aimed at building camaraderie and solidarity with our PAREF sister schools, namely Southcrest and Rosehill, as well as other schools. This was the first time for Woodrose to organize a multi-sport, inter-school tournament. In previous years, the Escriva Cup was hosted by Southcrest in Cebu.
Both athletes and supporters brimmed with excitement as the teams arrived for the Opening Ceremony. Southcrest travelled all the way from Cebu and PAREF Rosehill brought 200 of their students from Antipolo. A total of about 15 teams came together to compete in badminton, lawn tennis, swimming, softball, volleyball, futsal, and table tennis. The games were held in the school grounds, Alabang Country Club, Cuenca football field, and the Playground. Students were able to showcase their athleticism and competitiveness as their family and friends cheered them on.
Ultimately, the Escriva Cup further instilled sisterhood and sportsmanship not only within the PAREF community, but also other schools.
