Designing Blended Learning Seminar

Part of our teacher development is keeping them abreast of the latest technology integration strategies. Recently, Ms. Emelita Baylon, Educational Technologist Coach from De La Salle Santiago Zobel, was invited to share her expertise in designing blended learning lessons. Blended learning combines the traditional classroom experience and an accessible online learning space with the aim of boosting engagement and performance of students. It shows great potential as a learning model because it can integrate the best features of both traditional and online learning to complement each other. The seminar, held on November 13, 2019 at the Computer Laboratory, was attended by fourteen faculty members from the Junior High School Department. Mrs. Rachel Zulueta led the Science group, Mrs. Suzy Tiotangco led the Filipino group, and Ms. Auden Nalus led the Religion group. Congratulations to all the participants!
