“It is important that young people receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, through which one receives the Holy Spirit and is thus more firmly united to Christ and to the Church, to spread the faith and live as true Christians.” –Pope Francis
Grade 9 students were sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit when they received the Sacrament of Confirmation on February 24, 2018 at the St. James the Great Parish Church. It was administered by Cardinal Gaudencio Rosales, assisted by our School Chaplain, Fr. Roque Reyes. The participation of the Woodrose Chorale, Teachers Choir, and Southridge Servers Society in the ceremony contributed to solemnity of the occasion.
