On August 4, 2017, the Grade 12 students had a career talk in the newly opened Multi-Purpose Hall. During the talk, five (5) alumnae speakers shared their experiences about going to college and pursuing their careers. Pam Chan (Class 2008), Marielle Mills-Mikkelsen (Class 1997), Jessica de Leon (Class 2011), Camille Jacinto-Lagustan (Class 1997), and Tina del Rosario (Class 2007) covered a wide variety of careers: law, advertising, sales and marketing, communications, and graphic design. It was a lively afternoon full of laughter and, of course, rich insights. More than being an opportunity for the students to receive guidance in their choices for college and their future careers, it was an opportunity for them to see how a Woodrose alumna can confidently stand on her own in the real world – working with joy and passion, finding success and fulfilment.
