On July 12, 2017, Fr. Roque Reyes, our School Chaplain, blessed the new Senior High School Wing. Saying a few words before the blessing, Fr. Reyes focused on the spirit of generosity that made the building possible. He recalled the groundbreaking ceremony last school year when construction had just started. “It was only a hole in the ground!” he exclaimed, “and now, look at what it has become.” He went on to say that the building was representative of the ultimate goal of Woodrose: to give her students the very best. To emphasize the quality of careful thought and attention to detail put into the building, he added that, “If St. Josemaria were to build a building, this is exactly how he would build it.”
The Senior High School Wing was opened to students on July 13, 2017, the first day of school. Aside from housing several classrooms, it will also house the High School library, computer laboratory, multi-purpose hall, and cafeteria once fully completed.
