Last November 1–7, a group of Grades 9 and 10 students joined an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Study Tour in Sydney, Australia.
Organized by the Academy of Entrepreneurs in partnership with the school, the program gave students the opportunity to learn from top industry leaders and innovators about turning community problems into opportunities and leading with empathy and resilience, along with master classes in the ethical use of AI, digital marketing, prototyping, and more. The group also visited leading start up businesses and innovative companies, including Amazon, and engaged in interactive sessions and hands-on activities designed to spark creativity and strengthen problem-solving skills.
The experience culminated in a pitch presentation, where students showcased their own social enterprise ideas inspired by global challenges they hope to address. It was truly an insightful and memorable learning journey, one that inspired students to think big, embrace innovation, and lead with purpose.
