For their Minor Performance Task, Grade 10 students used techniques found in Islamic Art to make their own patterns. Basic foundational skills were taught so they could incorporate a technique dating back thousands of years.
On the other hand, their Major Performance Task involved creating their own manuscript inspired by the Illuminated Manuscripts of Medieval Europe and a modern song, movie or book of their choice.
