Academic Week


The Academic Week of the Grade School Department is in full swing and their tag line this year is “In pursuing excellence, everything is possible.” To kick off the celebration last Monday, February 19, students from Grades 1 to 3 paraded around the school, dressed in their favorite book character. They were asked to choose their characters based on the traits they found admirable and worth emulating.

Other activities to look forward to during Academic Week include:

Talk on Writing by Tricia Peralta (Woodrose alumna from Class 2011, recipient of the Spirit of Edsa Award, and graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a double degree in BA Psychology and BS Economics, Magna cum Laude)Exhibit and Talk on Indigenous People by Wodrose parent, Mrs. Charisse Tugade

Talk on Math is Everywhere by Woodrose parents Mrs. Arlyn Omila, Mr. Salvador Uy, and Mrs. Maria Eloise Grozman
